Control of the quality of the product or project outcome controlled by project Quality assurance has always seems to be the Cinderella of project management. In some projects even the Ugly Duckling. Quality assurance correctly applied, creates the systems to measure and control quality. This in turn creates confidence that quality products will be produced. Quality is often confused with grade. Grade is centred on expectations while quality is centered on stated and implied needs. Low quality is always a problem, low grade may not be!
